Why I Stopped Worrying (and You Should, Too)

Worrying is such a useless activity in life.

Most of the things we worry about never come to pass.

A good number of the things we worry about we can’t do anything to change.

Worrying is like shadow boxing . . .

. . . except you’re scared about being hit — even though you never will.

Yet, we all do it.

Worry. Worry. Worry.

Until we don’t.

Because I stopped.

Cold turkey.

Just plain ol’ stopped.

And for those moments when I start to feel a pang of doubt . . . insecurity . . . fear . . . worry . . . ?

I simply say to myself FOUR words.

Everything will be OK.

Now, I didn’t come to this point on my own.

I reached this state thanks in large part to the book I recently published . . .

Here’s what happened . . .

Ruben Perez, the author, came into my life at just the right time. He presented his book to me for publishing and when I read it I saw in it a unique blend of wisdom, storytelling, and practical advice that struck a chord within me, prompting me to reevaluate my relationship with worry and stress.

The author’s exploration of personal growth and the reality of this life of ours through a “fictional” story resonated deeply with me.

As I delved into the pages of The Butterfly’s Apprentice: A Power Spell, I couldn’t help but draw parallels between the protagonist’s journey and my own struggles with worry: the concept of shedding old patterns, embracing change, and emerging stronger and more vibrant on the other side profoundly impacted my perspective.

Mr. Perez’s eloquent words guided me toward a realization:

Worrying is essentially holding onto a caterpillar stage when we are meant to transform and soar as butterflies. (#butterflypeople)

Read that again.

So, I started acknowledging the thoughts that triggered my worries (like Mr. Haanel taught in The Master Key System) and then I consciously worked on shifting my perspective, allowing these concerns to become opportunities for growth rather than sources of anxiety.

Like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon, I found myself embracing change with a newfound sense of resilience.

I’m pleased to say that the transformation has been incredible.

And I know it will be for you, too.

By internalizing the lessons from The Butterfly’s Apprentice, I’ve witnessed a remarkable decrease in my overall stress levels — I’ve become more present, more appreciative of life’s fleeting moments, and more confident in my ability to navigate challenges.

I wanted to share this with you because I believe that these resources could be just as impactful for you as they have been for me. Please have a look.

Until then, I wish you a worry-free and transformative journey.
