To all the Attainers of the World, all of us here at Kallisti Publishing wish you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
May you get for yourself the BEST of EVERYTHING as you move forward boldly every day always.
And lest we forget what this Season is all about, allow some of our favourite cartoon characters to explain –
For those who cannot watch videos, here is the transcript –
Charlie Brown: I guess you were right, Linus. I shouldn’t have picked this little tree. Everything I do turns into a disaster. I guess I really don’t know what Christmas is all about. Isn’t there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?
Linus: Sure, Charlie Brown. I can tell you what Christmas is all about. (walks to the center of the stage) Lights please. (a spotlight shines down on him) And there were in the same country shepards abiding the field… keeping their watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the lord came upon them… and the glory of the Lord shone round about them… and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them: “Fear not, for behold I bring you tidings of great joy, which will be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David… a savior, which is Christ the lord. And this shall be a sign unto you. Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in the manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel… a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace, goodwill toward men.” That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.
[Charlie Brown picks up the tree and walks away outside with the kids following him. He then stops and dreams]
Linus: (voice over) For behold I bring you tidings of great joy, which will be to all people. For unto you is born in the city of David, a saviour, which Christ the lord. And they shall bring a sign unto you.
Charlie Brown: Linus was right. I won’t let all this commercialism ruin my Christmas. I’ll take this little tree home and decorate it. And I’ll show ’em, it really will work in our play.
And there you have it.
And now you have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Move forward boldly!
Very truly yours . . .
Anthony.
