So, how do you go about doing it?
There are different paths to riches — and they all start in the same place: with YOU and YOUR ATTITUDE.
If you want to get rich, then you have to cultivate a Rich Mental Attitude.
Rest assured, you can do that, too! Here’s how — from the pen of the “millionaire-maker,” Tyler G. Hicks.
1. LOOK FOR SUCCESS. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET RICH
You need to be looking for wealth. Many people say that it’s better not to go looking for wealth. They say money will come to you when the time is right. But money doesn’t just come to most people. Hey, even Lottery winners work hard at buying lottery tickets before they win big.
NEVER STOP LOOKING. Wealth and success, just like everything else, have to be actively pursued.
2. FIND WEALTH AROUND YOU.
Finding wealth takes time, but if you don’t have the resources you need to get started, you need to do something about it.
IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR WEALTH, you need to have—or build—an active life. But that doesn’t mean you have to attend international trade shows and hobnob with the rich and famous. Do something different.
REMEMBER, GETTING WEALTHY IS A DELIBERATE ACT. If you really want to get rich, you have to stop being cautious and holding back. You need to meet new people, make connections, and take active steps toward your future wealth every day.
IF YOU REALLY PUT IN A BIT OF EFFORT, you’ll be able to see how easy it is to make new connections, to learn and do something toward your wealth every day. The more people you meet and the more often you take active steps, the higher the odds that you’ll reach your wealth goals—sooner.
3. DEAL WITH REJECTION AND STUMBLING BLOCKS.
When looking for wealth, you won’t always be able to get what you want when you want it. You can’t expect everyone who shows a little interest to become your business partner (or mentor). So learn to deal with rejections gracefully.
4. STAY POSITIVE.
No matter what happens in your pursuit of wealth, stay positive. You never know what truly good opportunity is waiting for you around the corner. As long as you make new connections, keep learning and practicing, and stay positive, success will come knocking on your door sooner than you think.
5. CREATE OPPORTUNITIES WHILE LOOKING FOR WEALTH.
